Labor has announced they will pursue another version of a price on carbon. Much like the emissions trading scheme proposed by Kevin Rudd, the scheme is likely to dish out billions of dollars to polluters and do nothing to stop the mass expansion of coal-fired power happening all around the country. Get involved to demand real action on climate change.

Sydney Uni Climate Action Collective (CAC)

CAC are a group of Sydney Uni students who campaign for just solutions to climate change. We hold events, forums, campus stalls, actions and discussions. We are part of the Sydney Uni SRC. Any body is welcome to come along and get involved. We welcome questions, discussion, and debate.

The Union Climate Action Network (UCAN) meets regularly at Trades Hall and welcomes input from unionists and others interested in working with unions on climate issues.
